I am a chiropractic physician with offices in Sarasota and Venice, Florida who practices and incorporates both chiropractic and naturopathic healthcare. I utilize a gentle synergistic blend of vitamins, supplements, herbs, and mild lifestyle/ dietary changes to compliment my chiropractic skills. This combination offers more alternatives and healing potential to patients, especially in cases where prior care may not have been successful.

I have also incorporated the use of Anodyne Infrared Therapy in the treatment of Neuropathies, Peripheral Artery Disease, Carpal Tunnel as well as painful muscular and spinal conditions.  

Chiropractic is based on the scientific principle that our nervous system controls and influences all cells and tissues of the human body and resulting (ill) health. Interference to the nerves and nervous system may be caused by vetebrae of the spine that are not functioning or moving properly. This is called a subluxation. The result may be pain, numbness, muscle spasm and weakness along the course of the nerve(s) which are "pinched". A subluxation may also affect the internal organs which the nerves control.  By detecting and correcting spinal subluxations, the pressure on the nerve(s) may be relieved and health restored. I utilize chiropractic adjusting techniques that are a blend of Diversified, Cox lumbar traction, Thompson Drop, Gonstead, and Activator methods with personalized care and attention to your specific needs.

Naturopathy is an alternative method of healing with nature using natural medicines, herbs, plants, vitamins, oxygen, light, water, heat, acupuncture, and others remedies in the treatment of human ailments. It is broad in scope by design so that many different therapies may be utilized by Naturopaths for the patients benefit.
